- Motion picture/ film/video is made up of many shots.
- Shot is a continuous view shot by one camera without interruption.
- Sequence is a series of scenes, or shots, complete in itself.
Shot size
> Determines how large the area that's visible within the frame.

Wide shot -> Extreme wide (eg: showing a cityscape to show
where the character is in their environment.)
-> Medium wide (A character shot that cuts off across the legs above/ below the knees) - Medium shot

Close-up shot - to emphasize small details like facial
expressions/ small objects.
-> Medium close-up
-> Extreme close-up - Over-the-shoulder shot - to show the character/main subject's POV.
[Most films uses medium shots to observe closer to the situation and
follow the plot]
Composition: Rules of Thirds
Subject Angle: Composition
-> Facial modelling is best when subject is turned 45'to the
camera.
-> Angle the camera so that parallel lines diminish and converge
preferably towards the light.
