Stop Motion practice
Before we start on our final project stop motion, We had given an exercise
beforehand in the design studio with the props provided in a group of 4
people and our theme is about Halloween as it was the seasonal
week.

Final Project: Stop Motion Animation
In this project we are basically doing the same thing as our practice which
is doing stop motion animation but this time around the theme will be about
'Climate Change' and in a group of 2 instead. So I have paired up with my
groupmate, Iman and worked along together for this final project.

After we have done our script, Iman proceeded to draw out the storyboard
for this project.

We were advised by the lecturer to cut down some parts of the
storyboard during our first consultation.
Production process
Proceeding to our next task which is the video shooting process
after the storyboard has done. We bought the materials like clay
and glue etc before the shoot. The rest of the materials like
aluminium foil and wires for the human puppet was brought by on
the shooting day.

We took three separate days to film the whole process as we spent
more time on setting up than execution.
This was from one of our shooting days where we have to improvise an
overhead shot for our stop motion since we didn't have a longer tripod
stand.

We then compiled all the frame shots we got and edited them in
Adobe Premiere Pro.

Reflection
I already had some experience with making stop motion videos before so at first I was quite confident in finishing this task well with my groupmate. However, due to other assignments that needed to be finished at an earlier time, we ended up not really have much time to execute it properly.
Compared to me making stop motion videos before, the set up for this current final project definitely took a lot more time than I expected, which explains why we have to video shoot them in different days. Despite these challenges, we still managed to have a good teamwork and able to produce a pretty good work for this project which I personally am grateful for. Overall stop motion can be fun but a lot of the times it's more tedious but seeing the final outcome where everything comes together it just felt like our hard work has paid off.
