After Effects exercise
> Before starting the actual final project, we were introduced to another software, After Effects, which will be used for this project. Sir Fauzi gave us a recorded tutorial on how to animate the images in AE and then provided us a PSD file to try to animate the same images for this exercise.

> Tried masking on this image of a projector using the pen tool

> The end result of this exercise was chaotic but in a good way that I
can get used to the tools available in After Effects.
Now onto the actual task, our final project for this module.

> In these two sketches I've drawn, I have decided to combine these
two ideation sketches to create my own composition to be animated later
since the sketches have similar elements/ arrangements and circulate with
the same theme I've chosen which is a floral theme.

> I have also added some green screen videos into my composition later
in After Effects.
> I took different self-portraits of myself and cropped them out by
the body parts and then hand drawn them to create a doodling
effect.

> I have used some of the adjustment layers in Photoshop to enhance my
self-portrait picture.
- Filter > Blur > Lens Blur > Blending mode: Screen -> for the dreamy/glowy effect on the picture
- Increasing the curves level
- Applying a gradient map on top of the original image and blending it with either 'Screen' or 'Soft Light'.

> I have used some green screen videos like green screen flowers
and green screen clouds for my animation Self-Titled
project.
Copied the Youtube link and pasted it on the MP4 converter website
to convert it into video for me to download.
To remove the green screen in After Effects
-> Effects & Presets > Keying > Keylight > 'Screen color' and use the eyedropper tool on the side and click on the green background to remove > Drag it to the layers of the green screen video.

- Distort>Bulge (Subtle shoulder movement on my self-portrait)

- Keying> Keylight (Removing green screen background)

> After done with editing the video, it is time to render the
video and export it. It took quite a few minutes to be done since I
have been adding more effects & presets to my layers.

Reflections
> In this final project of Digital Photography &
Imaging, it was the most interesting project I have done throughout this module as it implies not just Photoshopping skills but also After Effects as well. It was a knowledgeable experience and I get to learn and improve my skills in these Adobe softwares.
